On November 23, 2020 as part of the month-long celebration of the success of Hungarian science, HEPA Regional Office together with the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto and Vice Consulate of Hungary in Vancouver hosted an interesting online event. Besides the commemoration of some of the well-known Hungarian inventories from the last decades, a start-up company, Poliloop introduced its groundbreaking technology to the audience. The invention of the group of young, Hungarian scientists provides a futuristic, bacteria based solution to manage unrecyclable plastic in an eco-friendly, especially effective and efficient way.
