HEPA Regional Office Canada: Celebrating Hungarian Wine Success in Ontario

We’re excited to share the success of Hungarian wines at a reception for Premier Doug Ford of Ontario, an event supported by HEPA Regional Office Canada. This gathering highlighted the exceptional quality and diversity of Hungarian wines.

Highlighting Hungarian Wine Excellence
Guests had the opportunity to taste wines from three renowned Hungarian wineries: Patricius Borház, Attila Gere Winery, and Csányi Winery. Curated by Con-nois-seur Wine Imports, these selections received praise for their outstanding quality.

HEPA’s Role in Promoting Hungarian Culture
As part of its ongoing efforts, HEPA Regional Office Canada plays a pivotal role in supporting Hungarian Heritage Month each October. Executive Director Sándor Balla expressed gratitude to Premier Doug Ford for his backing of this cultural celebration. Mr. Balla also extended an invitation to Premier Ford to HungaroFest Toronto‘s opening ceremony on June 1st at Yonge-Dundas Square. This annual festival, a cornerstone of Hungarian cultural promotion in Ontario, receives support from HEPA Regional Office Canada.

Expanding Trade Relationships
In April, HEPA Regional Office Canada submitted wines from seven Hungarian wineries to the LCBO’s latest tender, a move that underscores its commitment to fostering trade between Hungary and Canada.

Conclusion
The success of Hungarian wines at Premier Doug Ford’s reception underscores their quality and the growing appreciation in Ontario. HEPA Regional Office Canada remains steadfast in its mission to promote Hungarian culture and enhance trade relations in Ontario.
