HEPA Regional Office Canada together with the Consulate General of Hungary organized a special wine tasting event in Toronto on 10th of August . Four excellent wineries – Bock Wines & Spirits, Bolyki Pincészet és Szőlőbirtok, Mad Wine and Takler Borbirtok – were introduced to wine experts and distributors. The Hungarian wines were presented by sommelier Joseph Safian, Director of Operations, Food & Beverage Division of HEPA and representatives of the wineries present online. The ingredients of the wine pairing creations were provided by the Hungarian Fine Foods Inc. made by János Székely, the chef of the Consulate General of Hungary. The presented wines will also be available in the wine selection of many restaurants and hotels in Ontario. The event was attended by Sándor Balla, Managing Director of HEPA Canada and Máté Árpád Igaz Deputy Head of Mission and Foreign Trade Attaché.
