The Hungarian Consulate General in Toronto and the HEPA Partner Office organized an introduction and a B2B meeting for Chameleon, a system-independent smart home solution company. The Co-founder of the company and the invited business partners were greeted by Máté Árpád Igaz, Deputy Head of the Mission, Economic Attaché and he presented the excellent opportunities in the Hungarian startup sector and especially in Chameleon. Sándor Balla, Executive Director of the HEPA Partner Office explained the export promotion services and potential business opportunities provided to the company. The co-founder of the company, Róbert Biró, introduced Chameleon as a company that offers solutions which are unique in the industry and provide an excellent solution for the Canadian construction sector. The event was attended by Steve Singh, CEO of Thinking North Investor Group, Pat Spagniolo, Vice President of Chestnut Hill Development construction company, Paul Thomas, owner of Lighton Electric and Reza Bakshandeh, a representative of Chameleon Canada. At the meeting, an agreement was made that Chameleon would provide sample products to companies so they can test the system as soon as possible.

On the next day, as a follow up the participants continued the discussion about smart home solutions at Chestnut Hill Development in Toronto.
