HEPA Regional Office Canada Celebrates Hungarian Wine Success at LCBO
We are excited to announce significant achievements in our efforts to bring exceptional Hungarian wines to the Canadian market, thanks to our ongoing collaboration with the LCBO.
Joseph Safian, Director of Operations for the Food & Beverage Division at HEPA Regional Office Canada, recently visited Sebestyén Cellar in Szekszárd, where he had the pleasure of tasting the winery’s remarkable selections with Csilla and Csaba Sebestyén. We are proud to share that Sebestyén Cellar has won the LCBO’s tender for Eastern European wines. Their outstanding Kadarka wines will be available in LCBO Vintages stores by the end of the year. This achievement marks a significant milestone, as it introduces these unique Hungarian wines to a broader Canadian audience through the LCBO’s prestigious Vintages collection.
Additionally, Joseph Safian visited our esteemed partner, the Winery of Pannonhalma Abbey. We are delighted to announce that their exceptional Tricollis and Rhine Riesling wines will soon be featured in LCBO stores. This development is a testament to our strong relationship with the LCBO and our commitment to showcasing the best of Hungarian winemaking in Canada.
These partnerships with the LCBO highlight our dedication to promoting Hungarian wines and expanding their availability in the Canadian market. We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with the LCBO and bringing even more Hungarian wine selections to Canadian consumers.
