The Hungarian Tourism Agency, the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, the Consulate General of Hungary of Toronto and the Vice-Consulate in Vancouver co-organized an event presenting the Hungarian tourism sector and the Hungarian economic potential at a special venue in Vancouver to Canadian partners, including Canadian travel agencies and food importers, wine agencies and representatives of Air Canada. Consul General Valér Palkovits and Kristóf Szabó, CEO of HEPA greeted the participants. Director of HEPA, Mária Süveges presented the services provided by HEPA and the Hungarian economic and business opportunities. The Hungarian tourism industry was presented by Máté Igaz, Deputy Head of Mission/Foreign Trade Attaché and Mónika Molnár FTA. Sándor Balla, Executive Director of HEPA Canada, and Máté Görgényi, Head of Department at HEPA attended the event, as well. After the presentations, the guests participated at a Hungarian food and wine tasting, and got acquainted with Hungarian gastronomy.
