Strengthening Ties: HEPA Meets with Ontario’s Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions
Tamás Biró, Chief of Staff at the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, and Sándor Balla, Executive Director of HEPA Regional Office Canada, recently engaged in a productive meeting with Michael Tibollo, Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions of Ontario.
The primary focus of the meeting was The MedTech Conference, set to take place in Toronto in October 2024. This conference represents a significant opportunity for Hungarian medtech companies to present their innovations on an international platform, further establishing their presence in the global market.
The discussions also uncovered several new opportunities aimed at enhancing innovation, economic, and trade relations between Hungary and the province of Ontario. Notably, a key topic was the upcoming HungaroFest Toronto 2025. Building on the success of this year’s event, which attracted over 100,000 visitors, the 2025 festival promises to be another major highlight, celebrating Hungarian culture and fostering deeper connections within the community.
We look forward to the exciting developments that these initiatives will bring and are committed to supporting ongoing collaboration between Hungary and Ontario.
