Hungarian innovation made a strong impression on the Chicago business community as three leading Hungarian companies presented their advanced solutions for the first time in the city. Supported by HEPA and organized by the HEPA Regional Office Canada in collaboration with the Consulate General of Hungary in Chicago, the event highlighted the breadth of Hungarian technological expertise and innovation.

Three leading Hungarian companies presented their advanced solutions to the Chicago business community, supported by HEPA and the Consulate General of Hungary.

Uphome Smart Living + showcased its smart home automation solutions, demonstrating how technology can simplify and enhance modern living. Kuube introduced its sustainable solar-powered smart benches, designed to improve public spaces while promoting environmental responsibility. Mattorgroup Inc. presented its advanced industrial automation technologies, aimed at supporting global markets with cutting-edge solutions.

The event also offered a curated tasting of premium Hungarian wines from Sauska Wines, Patricius, and Bock Wineries, paired with a three-course menu, providing guests with a taste of Hungary’s rich culinary and viticultural traditions.

The event successfully facilitated meaningful business connections, with follow-up discussions already underway. It marked an important first step in introducing HEPA to the U.S. market, particularly in the Midwest region, and reinforced Hungary’s position as a hub of innovation and technology.
